Décor Ironworks, Inc. is a small business in iron railing fabrication with “a legacy of craftsmanship” spanning fifty five years.  Robert Brunner, owner of Décor Ironworks, Inc. purchased Decorator Iron Work from Herbert Southern in 2006.  Herb acquired Stokes Hammer and Anvil in 1968 from Harry Stokes who founded the business in 1953.

    The “legacy of craftsmanship”, continues as Bob brings 33 years of experience in the ironworking industry to the company, and has retained the craftsmen of Decorator Iron Work. The commitment to great service, excellent quality, and pride of craftsmanship defines the company culture of Décor Ironworks Inc.

    The main focus of our business is the manufacture and installation of wrought iron railings, for exterior and interior applications.  We measure each location and fabricate the railings to “custom” fit the layout. We offer several standard wrought iron designs and scrolls, along with custom railing designs, to meet our clients taste and style.

    Décor Ironworks also provides railing repair service. Existing rail posts can rust out at the base, causing an unsafe condition. We remove the rail, replace the posts, and reinstall the railing.  Repair service is very economical as it saves the client the cost of purchasing an entire new rail.

   Miscellaneous iron work is offered at our shop: Welding services; railing fabrication for self installation; and decorative ornamental ironwork.

    Décor Ironworks, Inc. serves the needs of clients in Lake, and Porter counties in Indiana as well as Southeast Cook county, and Will county of Illinois.
